There are three main components in this game demo:

The Introduction

  • Login Screen

  • Character Creator

  • Animated sequence of the Player’s character being constructed

  • Playable sequence of the Player Character’s first walk

  • Another animated sequence transitioning from childhood into present adulthood

  • Gameplay begins

The City

Currently, The Introduction is mostly done.

The Game starts once the Player presses Begin on the Login Screen (animation of inventor still in development).

This will cause the camera to zoom onto the Inventor’s notes (the Character Creator Screen).

Here, the Player will select their initial Character’s head, body type, hat, name, and gender.

Once the Player’s Character is chosen, an animated sequence will play which shows the Character being physically created (a lot of background imagery and higher detail still needs to be drawn for this sequence).

After this sequence, there is an interactable segment where the Player controls an infant version of their Character.

(If the Player stops moving, the Infant Character will enter this idle animation.

When the Player has reached the rocking chair, the Inventor will read the Player a story.

Once this animation has played, the game will transition to the Character’s adulthood and the gameplay begins.
